Using Fluid to make nice MacOS apps out of various web apps - Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Reader, etc. Works very well.

#MacHeist SousChef looks quite impressive - not sure I’ll use it, but well thought out ‘hands-off’ mode to use when cooking.
Playing with the #MacHeist apps. Scribbles looks of no real use, but fun to play with - similar to ArtRage. World of Goo looks quite fun.
Just bought the MacHeist bundle. It would be hard not to find $33 worth of value in that lot.

Bought a longer camera strap in LCE, so I can wear my camera diagonally across my chest - easy carry without a bag for quick snapping.
Walked to Tiverton for breakfast. Sudden impulse decision to catch a bus to Exeter. Wandered around, bus back, pub, Subway, taxi home. Fun.

I was also pleased to successfully purchase sewing machine oil today. It’s a thrill-filled life we lead.

Got my new Victorinox knife today - black Swiss Champ, with brown pouch. Bought from http://www.minitools.co.uk - cheap, and quick delivery.
Multitool runner-up was the Leatherman Juice. Previous experience with Leatherman hasn’t been great, but the Juice looks really nice.
Conclusion on the ‘multitool’ internal debate was returning to the old classic Victorinox Swiss Champ. This time in black, with brown pouch.
James Snail is dead. Final clue was all the fish attempting to eat him. Poor James.
Tonight’s movie was The Tuxedo. That wasn’t good.

I love to dither endlessly, especially on buying decisions. Multitools are my current dither-target. Quality + value of Victorinox winning.

I concluded that the source was the ice - frozen chopped onions escaped from the bag long ago in our freezer…
…I must have grabbed a bit of onion along with the ice cubes. It’s a nicer thought than most alternatives, so I’m sticking to it.
Finding a piece of onion in your Gin and Tonic is… Unexpected. Odd. It raises curiosity. As to the source.
